Beginning and Ending of Sessions

Beginning

The first day of each session begins with an onsite registration. Being pre-registered (online or mailed in form) with payment made can speed up your process. Having any items including medication that needs to be turned in with you can also reduce the time spent in registration. Sometimes, sessions fill and we are unable to accept walkin registrations.

At registration campers will:

  1. complete payments
  2. deposit canteen money (not needed at Beginner)
  3. turn in cell phones, and other valuables (money, wallet etc.) for safe keeping
  4. Check in with the nurse and turn in any medication
  5. Get cabin assignment

Times

Opening Day registration for Beginner is from 10 -11 a.m.

Opening Day registration for Junior, Intermediate and Senior is 2 -4 p.m.

If campers can not arrive by the end of the registration time please contact the camp 308-236-8889. Please, do not arrive early.

Ending

The last day of each session wraps up with a closing program and check out. Campers who need to leave early should notify the director ahead of time.

The Closing program is a final opportunity to share in some singing and make a few presentations and announcements. Parents are invited to join the campers for the closing program in the Chapel.

Check-out enables the staff to return any items and medication turned in at check in and refund any unspent canteen money. Check out also helps the staff keep track of who is still waiting to be picked up and who has left the premises. Campers should always check out with the appropriate staff when leaving camp.

Times

Closing program for Beginner is at 1 p.m. on the final day of each session and all campers should be picked up by 1:30 p.m.

Closing program for Junior, Intermediate and Senior is at 10 a.m. on the final day of each session and all campers should be picked up by 11 a.m.
