Nebraska Youth Camp is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with no paid employees.
Every dollar donated goes towards the mission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also collect general donations for: maintenance and upkeep on buildings\/grounds\/tractors, new construction, and scholarships.
We are blessed with volunteers for labor and session staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

General Fund<\/h3>\n

We are in need of funds for maintenance, increasing insurance costs, and service fees. Our goal is to keep camper fees as low as possible so everyone can come to camp!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amazon Wish List<\/h3>\n

Camp would love to have things from the list to help supply our sessions from our Amazon Wish List.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

$750 Foot washing station<\/summary>\n

This would add a platform for campers to wash off their feet at the beach before they put on their shoes. We would also like to add one at each bathhouse outside of the door to the bath house. This would help keep sand out of the bathhouse and out of the pipes!<\/em><\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n

$1000 Fountain for the lake<\/summary>\n

This ask is to add a color changing fountain in the middle of the lake. It would not just be a beautiful addition, but would also add needed aeration to help prevent algae growth.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n

$1500 Nurses station expansion<\/summary>\n

Our nurses station is really tight. We would like to expand it out to allow for needed counter space and medication dispensing.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n

$1500 Refrigerated Water Bottle Fill Station<\/summary>\n

Camp is hot and we want to make it as easy as we can to keep our campers <\/em>hydrated! We are hoping to purchase a total of two water fill stations<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n

$3000 Mini-split units for the staff cabins<\/summary>\n

This would replace the window AC unit and provide a more commercial solution to keep a staff cabin uniformly cool.<\/em> The cost is per staff cabin.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n

$6500 Replace the decking outside of the dining hall<\/summary>\n

The decking outside of the mess hall is in much needed replacement. Boards are warped and cracked. This ask would replace the decking with composite boards to help it withstand the elements better and also remove a trip hazard where the concrete has settled.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n

$10,000 Utility vehicle<\/summary>\n

Camp is a big place. This vehicle would allow transporting of items to camp sites. In an emergency, it can be used to quickly get to a camper and transport them back to the mess hall.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n

$35,000 Tractor<\/summary>\n

The tractor that we use to pull campers and mow the fields is end of life and continually requires a lot of maintenance. We are looking for a newer option that would be able to assist in those tasks.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n

$40,000 Replace camper cabin <\/summary>\n

We have 2 girls cabins and one boys cabin that are in major need of replacement.<\/em> The cost is per cabin.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n

$55,000 New staff cabin<\/summary>\n

We do not have enough space to house our summer volunteers at camp. This ask would be to add much needed spaces for them.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n

$1,000,000 New chapel<\/summary>\n

Our current chapel is the original building from the 40’s and does not fit all of our campers. A new chapel by the lake would provide an amazing new place to worship God.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/details>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
