Each year hundreds of youth from all across the country come to experience Nebraska Youth Camp. Camp would not be possible without the generous volunteers who give of their time and come to serve.

To all the volunteers and your remarkable, invaluable efforts of service — thank you.

How can I volunteer?

There are many ways to serve the camp and those who attend:

What's a Booster?

A Booster is a volunteer who communicates current camp events and information to those around them and helps to get people involved. Our goal is to have a dedicated Nebraska Youth Camp Booster in each church in Nebraska and surrounding states. If you would like to serve the camp in this way, please contact us or talk to your local Board Member.

Service Projects & Work Days

Your help is needed! It takes a lot of work to maintain the camp grounds and buildings. Each year there are numerous service projects available for volunteer workers to help with. The Nebraska Youth Camp Board of Directors Facilities Committee maintains a master plan for the camp. Some of the bigger projects are scheduled work days, but many of them are done behind the scenes. Sometimes churches like to plan a day or a weekend when they all come out to work on the camp. And sometimes it's a few people and a toolbox. We need both! Please contact us if you can help! It's not all heavy lifting — there's a job for everyone.

Heart of a Servant Award

Each year at the Annual Dinner in September, the camp gives a very special award to one or two of its many volunteers. The Heart of a Servant award is given in order to publicly recognize an individual for their immeasurable humble generosity of service to the camp and its attendees.
